GETM Launches D.C. Watch Blog

Sunday, May 21st, 2006

GETM.org launches D.C. Watch, a site tracking Political Advocacy groups in Washington D.C. that address issues pertaining to the environment.

Washington D.C. presumably is the most influential city in the world. Aside from being Americas capital, is home to over 400 political advocacy groups that lobby congress to shape new legislation. This blog will follow the progress of groups working to address environmental issues.

Portions of the site will cover news that may impact the environment, positively and otherwise.

Please visit the site at http://blog.getm.org. Registration is free and users are encouraged to contribute.

GETM.org version 5.0.1 Launched

Friday, March 24th, 2006

A feature upgrade has been installed to GETM.org making the peer-network more “user-friendly”.

A new database enabled server supports the site allowing members to add or edit contents using just the web browser. Implementation of free content management service from Textpattern/WordPress made this process a walk in the park. Please feel free to use the contact email to send in your comments/suggestions.
